Your data will be processed for the sole purpose of contacting you by telephone or e-mail for participation in a study by the hospitals listed on this website. You will receive specific information, such as the information and consent form, regarding this study in which you might participate. Definitive participation will only take place during your first visit - if you consent.

The personal data mentioned above are processed by the developer of UMC Utrecht. All data collected by our application is treated strictly confidentially and with utmost care.

We only receive the data you enter on the form.

This application processes the following personal data for the purpose of scientific research:

- Gender

- Interested in participating in this study

Security and storage of personal data
We take both technical and organizational measures to secure the personal data we process. So that, for example, these data do not end up with other parties. We do this according to the applicable legal requirements and guidelines. An example of a technical measure is that your data is sent encrypted to a secure database. The data is stored in data centers within the European Union. An example of an organizational measure is that only authorized employees of the participating hospitals as well as the developer of this application may view your data. These employees have access to your personal data only to the extent necessary to perform their duties.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep your data only if you consent to participate in the study. If you participate in the study we will keep your data for 15 years. If you do not wish to participate we will delete all information.
Data processing website visits
The UMC Utrecht collects and analyzes information about the use of the website, such as the number of visitors, the most frequently visited pages and the duration of a visit. In doing so it uses so-called 'cookies' (text files placed on your computer) to analyze how visitors use the site. When processing our website statistics, the IP addresses of visitors are anonymized: the last part of all IP addresses is removed, so that the country of a user can still be determined, but not the exact location.
